How On-Grid Solar Works

An On-Grid solar system — also called a grid-tied or grid-connected system — is directly connected to your local utility grid. Solar panels generate DC electricity, which the inverter converts to AC power for your home or business. Any excess power is exported to the grid and you receive credits on your electricity bill through Net Metering.
